You are a would-be god, and so is everyone else.
Dominions 6 is a turn-based strategy game about building a nation, spreading a religion, and winning battles you do not personally fight. It is very deep, it looks old, and nothing else plays like it.

Why Dominions 6 is deeper than it looks
Four things to know before you spend money
The full answer: is this game for you? →A single-player game takes days, not an evening
Multiplayer usually runs on a hosted server, often a turn a day, for weeks or months. Neither is a lunch break. A Blitz mode exists for much shorter games; the wiki has not tested how it works yet.
The interface is from another decade
This is true and everyone says so. The depth underneath it is the reason people stay for twenty years.
You do not control the battles
You set formations and up to five orders per commander, then watch it play out. If that sounds frustrating, it may not be for you.
You will probably lose your first game
That is how most people learn. The first game is for finding out what the buttons do.

Does body armour protect the head?
Head hits met the helm alone: the chain hauberk, which lists no head value, added nothing to the head.
